Bengaluru man arrested for murdering fellow cook

Bengaluru: A 24-year-old cook, Indra Bista, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his relative, Deepak Bahaddur Bhat, 40, also a cook, in Chikka Bellandur. Deepak's decomposed body was found in a drainage on May 1, but the case was initially registered as an unnatural death. His wife, Sushma Gurung, suspected foul play and filed a fresh complaint on June 6 after learning from a relative that Indra had confessed to someone about the murder. According to police, Deepak was killed on the night of April 11. During a drinking session, Indra allegedly stabbed him to death and dumped the body in a drain, police sources explained.
