Bengaluru: Grapes, watermelon fair begins at Lalbagh

BENGALURU: A month-long

mela began at

Lalbagh

in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

About 10 varieties of grapes grown in

Magadi

,

Kolar

,

Bagalkot

and

Vijayapura

regions are up for sale at the mela.

said the prices of grapes, especially the white varieties, are lesser by Rs 8-10 compared to last year.

Grapes and watermelons are being sold at 10% discount at all Hopcoms outlets across the state, including about 250 in Bengaluru.
