"Now we know why Donald Trump won [the] elections - it's because of our 'MAGA'," joked one netizen, sparking a chain of light-hearted comments online.
WhatsApp groups, too, were abuzz with updates on the US elections as Bengalureans kept one eye on the poll results and the other on the city's notorious traffic snarls.

There were voices offering some practical advice as well. @vineetkaul tweeted: "If people in Delhi, folks in Bengaluru or Mumbai showed as much interest as they are showing in the US elections, perhaps one could breathe easy, not drown, and not be stampeded!"
