Bengaluru: Amulya Leona Noronha sent to 5-day police custody

pro-Pakistan slogans

at an

anti-CAA demonstration

, will be in police custody for five days.


The fifth additional chief metropolitan magistrate, Bengaluru on Tuesday passed the order after Amulya was produced in the judge’s residence. Amulya has been charged under various offences, including sedition and creating enmity between two communities.

The hearing on Amulya’s bail petition didn’t take place in the morning since police failed to produce her, citing security reasons.
