Bear the stench for 6 months

BANGALORE: It will not take less than 3-6 months to make Bangalore clean and garbage free, said mayor D Venkatesh Murthy here on Thursday.
The mayor said efforts have been made to convince farmers of Mandur and Doddaballapur to allow the garbage dumping in the landfills in their villages.
Over 600 tonnes of garbage has been sent to Terra Firma landfill near Doddaballapura on Thursday, he said.
