Banglore boy wins math contest at Malaysia

BANGALORE: Aditya Vikram Sreejith, a class IV student of Ryan International School, won first prize in two categories of the International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition at the Sunway Carnival Convention, Penang, Malaysia on December 12.
After winning the ‘Champion of Champions' award at the national-level abacus competition in June in Bangalore, Aditya went on to secure the top spot at the international round, where he went against nearly 600 other students from 10 countries including Japan, China and Korea.
