Bengaluru: Twenty-one autorickshaw unions have called for a bandh on March 20, demanding a crackdown on bike-taxis in Bengaluru.
Manjunath, president of Adarsha Auto and Taxi Drivers’ Union, said: “We will wait for another two days. If the government fails to intervene, then all the 2.1 lakh autos will remain off the roads.”

The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners’ and Agents’ Association has called for an indefinite strike from March 16 to protest the traffic police ban on entry of heavy vehicles into the city during the day.
