BANGALORE: They were recently releasedfrom jail only to return on Friday evening. They assaulted two constables inSubramanyapura and were planning to kill their rival. The CentralCrime Branch (CCB) sleuths chased all the accused for some time before finallycatching them. Timmesh alias Gayatrinagar Timma, Hemanth Kumar and five of theirassociates were nabbed by the CCB sleuths.The accused wereconspiring to kill their rival Captain Raja. They planned to attack Raja bychasing him on two vehicles and shooting with a pistol. The CCB sleuths found 22rounds of ammunition from them.The arrested are Shankar alias DawoodShankar (31), Puttaswamy alias Ragiputta (30), Mahendra alias Mahi (28),Chandrashekar alias Chandra (29) and Abhishek alias Abhi (24).Theaccused were waiting for Raja in their cars when two constables approached them.The accused resisted on being questioned. This irked the constables, followingwhich there was an argument between the two groups.The accused thenassaulted the two constables, who in turn called for back-up. The CCB sleuthscame and gave a chase to the accused.Investigations found thataccused Hemanth Kumar was earlier an associate of Poison Raman.
Then he partedways with Raman and joined Brake Jaggi's gang.There are severalcases registered against the accused in Subramanyanagar, Mahalakshmi Layout,Magadi, Vijayanagar, Byatarayanapura, Nelamangala, Rajajinagar, Jalahalli,Peenya, Kamakshipalya, Tavarekere and Mandya police stations.There areeight cases against Timmesh, 12 cases against Hemanth Kumar, three againstShankar, eight against Puttaswamy, 6 against Mahendra, six cases againstChandrashekar and one case against Abhishek.
