Actor gets seven years imprisonment
Magistrate sentenced noted Kannada actor Shrinivas Murthy to a total of 7 years imprisonment.
Producer K R Muralikrishna had alleged that Murthy had presented false documents in respect of payment of Rs 2.45 lakh over distribution rights of 1988 Kannada film "Balanouke,' in which Murthy was the hero.
