BENGALURU: A 23-year-old garment shop owner and eight of his associates, including two minors, have been arrested on the charge of murdering a 33-year-old scrap merchant.
The accused told police that they had wrapped the mouth and nose of the victim with plaster to threaten him but had no intention to kill. Zoheb Abrar of BCC Layout in Chandra Layout was found dead on a pavement in Gangondanahalli on May 1. Abrar’s mother filed a complaint suspecting a classmate of his wife to be behind the killing.
That is how prime accused
Nadeem Ahmed came into the picture. Cops had rounded up his associates, who spilled the beans. On Tuesday, all of them were arrested.
