The South-East police solved 32 criminal cases on Monday by nabbing 29 criminals and recovering valuables worth Rs 23.85 lakh.

BANGALORE: The South-East police solved 32 criminal cases on Monday by nabbing 29 criminals and recovering valuables worth Rs 23.85 lakh.
The criminals hailing from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Nepal were paraded at the police commissioner���s office.
On March 10, the Mico Layout police nabbed eight accused, Vijay alias Viji alias Wilson, Vinod alias Jonti, Tarun Kumar, Ansar, Bharath alias Nepali, Satish, Ravi alias Narayan and Arun Kumar N, when the gangsters were hatching a plot to rob techies.

Apart from recovering lethal weapons and valuables worth Rs 2.6 lakh, the police also recovered chilli powder packets.
The Electronic City police have arrested six thieves, Raghunath Reddy, Kantha Raju, Babu, Sunil Kumar alias Sunil, Prashanth and Dharmaraj alias Dharma, and recovered valuables worth Rs 3.45 lakh.
Varthur police sleuths managed to trace the dacoity cases in Hosur police station limits in Tamil Nadu and have arrested R Prabhu and Tirupathi, both hailing from Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, and recovered Rs 4.25 lakh worth of valuables.
For Airport police, the arrest of Nagesh Rao alias Nagesh, Arun Kumar alias Arun on March 16, came as a shock as the duo was employed with the cargo section of Singapore Airlines in HAL Airport. On their arrest the police solved six cases and recovered six laptops worth Rs 2.4 lakh.

On March 13, the Airport police nabbed Manjunath alias Motte, Srinivas alias Seena, and solved five burglary cases in Mahadevapura and Airport police limits.
On the same day, the police nabbed Rajendra alias Rajendra Singh, who hails from Nepal and was absconding after committing burglaries in homes where he worked. In both cases, the police recovered valuables worth Rs 3.25 lakh.
The Koramangala police managed to solve six vehicle-lifting cases by arresting Shankar and recovered the bikes on March 10. On the same day, the police arrested Venkatesh alias Peya, Mallikarjun and Naufil and recovered valuables worth Rs 2.65 lakh.
