3 from Nepal held for Lalbagh brawl

Bengaluru: Three men from Nepal have been arrested after they traded blows in Lalbagh, after a video of a group fight went viral.
The arrested are Rajesh, Ramesh, and Umesh, aged between 20 to 23, and residents of Jayanagar and BTM Layout. They work as cooks in different hotels.
According to Siddarpua police, a few families from Nepal visited the garden on March 14, the Holi eve. They carried colours inside the park by hiding them in their pockets and began throwing them on each other near Lalbagh Rock. Soon, some men in the group began fighting with sticks lying in the garden. They threw water bottles at each other and attacked a soda vendor and vandalised his wares.
DCP (South) Lokesh B Jagalasar said there was no assault on locals.
Another officer said the trio was drunk when they fought. Investigation is on to identify the others involved in the brawl.
