3 children die in accidents

Bengaluru: Two children and their uncle on a scooter and a boy riding pillion on a bike died in two accidents at Ramanagara and Nelamangala since Wednesday night.
The first was reported Wednesday 10.50pm on Huskur Road when a rashly driven truck collided with a motorbike, killing a minor boy and injuring his father. The victim is N Hariprasad, 14, a class 8 student, while his father, Nagaraj, a security guard, was shifted to hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver was arrested.
The second accident occurred Thursday morning when a KSRTC bus rammed a scooter, killing B Pradeep, 5, and B Bhavya, 3, on the spot. Their uncle, Madhu, who was riding the bike, succumbed to injuries on way to a hospital. His friend, Ravi, is undergoing treatment.
The accident took place around 10am when the four were riding towards a hotel located on the outskirts of Achhalu village. KSRTC driver Gurulingappa, from Ramanagara depot, was arrested. The bus was heading to Kanakapura from Ramanagara, police said.
