BENGALURU: The next leg of the Janasankalpa Yatre will begin from Monday, CM Basavaraj Bommai said. Bommai and former chief minister BS Yediyurappa had launched the yatre from Raichur last month and had covered parts of Kalaburagi in the first leg.
The second leg will cover parts of Kittur Karnataka besides Udupi in the coastal belt. “We will begin from Udupi and we will visit Gadag, Haveri and Belagavi in Kittur Karnataka,” Bommai said.
“The second leg will comprise three days and the yatre will continue through to December.”
He said a rally of Scheduled Tribe communities will be held in Ballari on November 20 on the lines of the OBC rally in Kalaburagi last month.
A convention of Scheduled Caste communities will be held in Mysuru, tentatively on November 30. He said
