The second leg will cover parts of Kittur Karnataka besides Udupi in the coastal belt. “We will begin from Udupi and we will visit Gadag, Haveri and Belagavi in Kittur Karnataka,” Bommai said. “The second leg will comprise three days and the yatre will continue through to December.”

He said a rally of Scheduled Tribe communities will be held in Ballari on November 20 on the lines of the OBC rally in Kalaburagi last month.

A convention of Scheduled Caste communities will be held in Mysuru, tentatively on November 30. He said PM Modi will flag the Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai Vande Bharat train and inaugurate the second terminal at Kempegowda International Airport on Nov 11. On the alleged murder of BJP legislator MP Renukacharya’s nephew, Bommai said an investigation will be conducted.

“The postmortem will reveal most of the facts. The investigation can be based on that,” he said.
