2 interstate drug rackets busted

Bengaluru: Two interstate drug rackets were busted in the city on Sunday. Seven peddlers were arrested and about 21kg of ganja, 61 grams of heroin, a car, and cellphones were seized from them.
Yelahanka New Town police arrested three peddlers from Odisha — Sudhir Raana, Kyabana Bag and Santosh Raana — who were caught trying to sell ganja near Isro Layout in Gantiganahalli village. In the second case, Kodigehalli police arrested Nemichend Nemsa, Prakash, Prema Ram, all from Rajasthan, and Mallesh, from Devanahalli. The gang was trying to sell heroin on the service road in Bhadrappa Layout, Hebbal. tnn
