16-year-old stabs father to death in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A 16-year-old boy has been sent to juvenile home in the city for allegedly stabbing his father to death in Kalasipalya near KR Market on Friday. Syed Mustafa, 47, was a cab driver and resident of Wilson Garden.
Syed, after spurning the boy’s mother, married another woman recently. A school dropout, the boy worked in a garage. On Friday, Syed had visited his mother in Kalasipalya during the festival.“At the same time, the boy also came to meet his grandmother. He took his father outside the house and stabbed him in his stomach and fled. Syed died on the way to hospital. The accused was detained from his relative’s house in Chamarajpet by evening,” police said.
