bangalore: the state government on tuesday promoted 15 ias officers of the 1986 batch to supertime scale and continued most of them in the same departments. the supertime scale slab connotes an increase in salary -- between rs 18,400 and rs 22,400. the promotions include chief minister s.m. krishna's additional secretary m.k. shankarlinge gowda who has been promoted to secretary; i.m.vittal murthy, continued as md, msil (upgraded); k. shivaramu, davangere dc (upgraded); sanjeev kumar, kptc director, personnel (uppgraded); m.r. kamble, social welfare commissioner (upgraded from director); siddaiah, youth services and sports commissioner (upgraded from director); c.r. chikkmath, transferred as sericulture commissioner and director, sericulture; k.s. manjunath, karnataka land army corporation md (upgraded); lukose vallatharai, collegiate education commissioner (upgraded); b.h. manjunath, karnataka silk marketing board md (upgraded); c. krishnappa, special excise commissioner, bangalore, (upgraded from additional commissioner); mohammed sanaulla, backward classes commissioner (upgraded from director); k.h. gopalakrishne gowda, chikmagalur dc (upgraded); g.v. ramachandra, kodagu dc (upgraded) and k. keshavachari, kolar dc (upgraded).
