UP horror: Stray bull tosses 85-year-old man 5-feet into air in Baghpat; villagers plead for safety measures

An 85-year-old man, Pandit Raghunandan Sharma, faced a bull attack in Baghpat's Lahchaura village. The bull tossed him several feet into the air. Villagers rushed Sharma to a hospital. He is now stable. Locals reported a similar incident involving the same bull. They are urging Baghpat authorities to capture stray animals.

BAREILLY: A stray bull has tossed an 85-year-old man, Pandit Raghunandan Sharma, around five feet above the ground in Lahchaura village of UP's Baghpat. The incident took place when the octogenarian was on his way to a temple in the village. A purported video of the incident, which took place on Friday, came to light showing the bull tossing the elderly man around five feet into the air with its horns while he was walking.Sharma was immediately rushed to a private medical facility by the local villagers and is said to be in stable condition.Villagers claimed that this is not the sole incident of a bull attack. They claimed that the same animal had previously injured another man, Ram Gopal Yadav. Upon this incident, villagers have demanded immediate action from the local administration. They have urged district authorities of Baghpat to capture the aggressive bull and other stray animals in the area and relocate them to a cow shelter to prevent future incidents.
