Teen girl raped by minor, act recorded by his friends

SHAHJAHANPUR: Police have booked a juvenile boy and two of his minor friends for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl and making a video of the act. The incident was reported from Chaina Ruria village under Sindhauli police station here when the girl was returning home from her coaching classes. According to police, while one of the boys raped her, two others filmed the incident.
The minor survivor was stopped by the three boys on Monday afternoon and dragged to a field nearby where one of them sexually assaulted her. A complaint was later filed by the girl’s uncle on Tuesday and an FIR registered against the accused boys under section 376 (rape) and 354 (sexual harassment) of the IPC. Sections of the IT Act will also be included once the video is recovered by officials. Police are yet to nab the accused minors.
Station house officer of Sindhali police station, Rajveer Singh, said, “We have filed an FIR in the incident. The accused boys were known to the girl’s family and live in the same village. We are waiting for reports of the girl’s medical examination.”
