: Sub-Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, who was posted at
Sirsa
outpost under jurisdiction of
Baheri
police station, died after his bike rammed a truck from the rear side.
SSP Muniraj G said SI Kumar had arrived Baheri police station on Saturday to attend Thana Divas, and after attending the meeting he was on way to outpost when the incident took place around 4 pm.
“Near Bara outpost under Pulbatta police station limits, the truck he was following suddenly applied breaks and his bike rammed the rear side of the vehicle. He sustained severe head injuries, as result he died on the spot. He was taken to a nearest hospital where the doctors proclaimed him brought dead,” the SSP said.
Kumar was a native of Pahadpur village of Mawana police station in
Meerut
. Police said his family had been informed about the incident.
