SI suspended sending for inappropriate message to woman constable

Bareilly: A sub-inspector has been suspended here for allegedly sending an “indecent message” to a woman constable and harassing her, police said on Sunday.
A departmental inquiry was launched to investigate the incident.
The constable, in her complaint to Bareilly SP Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, reported the misbehaviour by the sub-inspector. SP (rural) Mukesh Chandra Mishra said the constable provided evidence of the “indecent message” sent to her.
