Yadav said, "All police stations across the district, especially Hajara and Madhotanda, which oversee the Indo-Nepal border area, have been kept on high alert with instructions to keep a tight vigil on the border and the suspects. The police are also coordinating with forest forces to intensify patrols in Lagga Bagga forest pocket of Barahi forest range, which is contiguous to Nepal's Shuklaphanta Wildlife Sanctuary."
"We are also in constant touch with our Nepalese counterparts for the prompt exchange of information about any suspected activity at the border," he added.
