Reflections

' to mark the completion of three decades of glorious existence in the field of education. Dr Arun Kumar, MLA

City, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of the Chairman of the school, Captain Rajiv Dhingra. This was followed by Saraswati Vandana, which kicked-off the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Arun Kumar lauded the efforts of the school in exhibiting a grand cultural evening and said, “The most important thing in child’s development is his/her overall development that not only has a good academic background but also an all-rounder and a great sportsperson, which is equally necessary for brain and personality development of any child.”


Students performed Chhau dance of Bengal, a string of verses woven into filmy songs of yesteryears. Panchhi banu udti chalu, Neel gagan ki chhao mein, Meine kaha phoolo se' was recited by students. A skit 'Girgit' based on Anton Chekhov's story 'Chameleon' was also staged by the students under the aegis of professional artists of Rangvinayak rangmandal theatre group of Bareilly. The play was an instant hit among the students, parents and guests. Apart from cultural programs, few parents and guardians were also awarded by the Chief Guest and the school Principal, Pratyaksh Dhingra, for their services to the school, as well as their constant support in conducting scout-guide camps in the school.


Tulsi Sharma, one of the guests seated, said, “The event was a great entertainment and aptly titled ‘Reflections’ as it had a mix of dances, live band and plays and reflected schools and its student’s unmatched efforts in putting up a great show. The dances were so effortlessly exhibited and it was a treat to watch the performances live.”
