PILIBHIT: A six-member NIA team conducted a raid at a farmhouse in village Abhaipur Madhopur under Puranpur Kotwali police station in Pilibhit. This comes as part of anti-gangster actions conducted at 70 locations in 8 states.
They reached the farmhouse of one Dilbag Singh at 5am on Tuesday, interrogated the caretaker Rajendra Kumar and searched the house.
SHO Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said NIA aimed to collect information about Singh's son Rajwinder Singh alias Azad, who was arrested by Punjab police in June last year, for his alleged involvement in supplying arms used in murder of an international kabaddi player, Sandeep Nagal Ambian, in March 2022, amid ongoing tournament.
