PILIBHIT: Police booked two men for robbing cash worth Rs 2.91 lakh from a 60-year-old manager of a petrol pump located at around 400 metres from Amaria tehsil headquarters on Bareilly-Haridwar NH 74 at 6.30pm on Saturday.
CO of Pilibhit Sadar circle, Dr Prateek Dahiya, inspected the spot while SP Atul Sharma, has constituted four teams, including one each of the surveillance cell and special operation group, to investigate the case. According to the victim, Kashmir Singh, two masked men robbed him at knife point while he was on his way back home in village Loharganj and fled on their bike. SHO (Amaria), Kamal Singh Yadav, said that “following a written complaint, an FIR was registered against two anonymous persons under IPC section 392 (robbery)”.
