Over 23,000 apply for various courses in MJP

Talking to TOI, in-charge of website section Ravindra Kumar Gautam said, “The initiative was taken by the department after coming across several technical glitches with outsourcing agencies that were hired last year. While it was a semi-online process, it was also expensive, as applicants were charged more for making payment online.”

According to varsity officials, more than 23,848 applicants had applied for 6,000 seats in various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses to be filled during new academic session. The number of applicants is likely to increase further as the last date for online submission of forms is April 11. MJP Rohilkhand officials are overwhelmed by the response of aspirants.
The varsity had already declared examination dates for undergraduate and postgraduate courses which will be conducted on 15 May for LLB and LLM courses. For MSc and other courses, the exam will be conducted on May 21, 22 and 23. MEd exam will be conducted on May 8 and the results are likely to be declared in the first week of June.
