BAREILLY: A security guard at the UP Roadways workshop in Bareilly died after Mohit Kumar, 25, the son of UP Roadways driver who was trying to learn to drive a bus hit the guard Ashok Saxena.

The 58-year-old guard who died on the spot is survived by two children and a wife.

The accident occurred within the premises of UP Roadways workshop on Thursday.

Police has arrested Mohit Kumar while the bus driver Suresh Kumar has been suspended by the regional manager of the UPSRTC.

According to Ram Kishan, the investigation officer at Baradari police station, said, "The FIR has been filed and accused has been taken into police custody."

The deceased's son Shobhit Saxena said, "We received the information that our father was hit by a bus and when we reached the spot, he was lying in a pool of blood. We were told that the son of the driver was driving the vehicle and could not apply the break and hit my father."
