Man held for throwing mom, sis out of house
PILIBHIT: A man was arrested here ion Saturday for allegedly throwing out his 52-year-old mother and his hearing-impaired sister from their home after he grabbed the property which is in the name of his mother. .
The son, Jitendra Sharma, forcibly allegedly took over the residential property of his mother Maya Devi, abused her, thrashed his disabled sister Rashmi, 22 and threw them out of the house.

The woman who lives close to a police post in the city area complained against her son but to no avail.
Left to fend for herself and her daughter, the woman met SP Sonia Singh on Friday and related her ordeal to the police officer, demanding legal action against her son. On the orders of the district police chief, personnel of the police station concerned arrested Jitendra and ensured that the mother and daughter return home.
Maya Devi told Sonia Singh that her husband, Ramesh Chandra Sharma had died 25 years ago. The pension which was being awarded to her and her disable daughter by the administration was the only source of their sustenance.
She said she was a resident of the Civil Lines locality in Pilibhit city and lived in her own housecomprising a constructed portion in 70 sq yards and a residential plot of 137 sq yards. Due to the continuous squabbling with her son Jitendra over the property, she had transferred the residential plot in her son’s name but Jitendra and his wife Subhadra wanted to usurp the house. That is why both mother and daughter were allegedly subjected to daily beatings.

Maya Devi said she had given many written complaints to the Civil Lines police post as well as to Kotwali police station but in vainIt made her son more angry and on November 4, he threw them out of the house. The duo sought refuge in the house of a relative, she added.
SP Sonia Singh gave ordered inspector, Kotwali police station, to take punitive action against the son and ensure that Maya Devi and her disabled daughter live in peace at their home.
Inspector. Kotwali, SS Tomar told TOI that an FIR had been lodged against Jitendra under section 151, Criminal Procedure Code, and police have arrested him while the victims have been sent home.
