Man arrested for killing lover’s hubby in Badaun

: A man was on Thursday arrested for allegedly killing the husband of her lover, a peon at a private school, and dumping his body on railway tracks in Badaun on June 15.

and deceased Rajkumar were working as peons at the private school, and the accused was in a relationship with the deceased’s wife. As Rajkumar wanted to shift to Bareilly along with his wife, Chauhan shot him dead, said police.

Ashok Kumar Tripathi, senior superintendent of police, Badaun, said, “As Rajkumar wanted to shift to Bareilly, his wife had suspicion that she won’t be able to continue her relationship with Chauhan. Thus, Chauhan killed Rajkumar. We have seized the pistol used in the crime. We are investigating the role of deceased’s wife and action will be taken accordingly.”
