Gangwar's personal secretary dies in accident in Shahjahanpur

Bareilly: Union minister Santosh Gangwar’s personal secretary, Brijesh Tiwari, died in a accident in Madnapur area of Shahjahanpur district on Saturday morning.

The 41-year-old was on his way to Bareilly from Kannauj when his car crashed into a stationary truck, resulting in his death on the spot on Friday midnight.

Brijesh Tiwari was a resident of Quila locality of Bareilly district. He is survived by his wife Manisha Tiwari and two sons Rishabh (16) and Gungun (12). An FIR was against the driver for parking his truck on the road and not keeping its tail light on.

Additional SP (city) Dinesh Tripathi said, “Personal secretary of Union minister Santosh Gangwar died after his car crashed into a truck, which was parked on the road in Madnapur. We have filed an FIR against the truck driver and seized the truck. The accused will be arrested soon.”
