Gangster with Rs 25,000 bounty held in Shahjahanpur

police on Friday morning arrested a history sheeter, Anand Chandra, from Shahjahanpur railway station after getting a tip-off. Chandra had been absconding for the past two years, is accused in cases of robbery and attempt to murder and carried a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head.

The bounty had been announced on him by SSP Shahjahanpur S Chinappa. Shahjahanpur and Hardoi police have been desperately searching for Chandra, who has carried out various robberies in the past two years and had attempted to kill a person once during a loot in Allahaganj area of Shahjahanpur in 2017. Act.

On Friday morning, Crime Intelligence Wing (CIW) and SHO, Sindhauli police station, nabbed him while he was going to board a train. Chandra had been constantly changing his location to dodge cops. The reward on him will be shared by Sindhauli police (a part of Shahjahanpur police) and the CIW.
