Drunk sub-inspector creates uproar at police post, suspended

Pilibhit: A police sub-inspector posted at the reserve police lines was suspended after he created ruckus at Khakra police outpost of Pilibhit Kotwali police station on Friday night under the influence of liquor.
On getting the information, superintendent of police Jai Prakash Yadav sent Sudhir Chaudhary to the district government hospital for medical examination under the police custody to confirm the presence of alcohol in his blood.
Yadav said he was waiting for the report to be filed in the matter by the SHO concerned before deciding the mode of action against the sub-inspector.
