MORADABAD/DELHI: Healthcare startup, Critical Care Unified (

CCU

), which began operations in Delhi-NCR, is now offering its services in small towns like Aligarh, Moradabad, and Farrukhabad in west UP, besides other parts of the country.

CCU helps patients transfer from hospital to home, offers monitoring and support equipment along with providing the services of medical practitioners, nursing help and medical attendants. It delivers hospital-grade ICU-style care in the comfort of one's own home, offering a complete package and solution for the patient, said founder

Rajiv Mathur

here on Tuesday.

Mathur said, "Once the surgery or the acute phase is over, CCU migrates the patient to home, resulting in three benefits – lower costs, reduced risk of nosocomial infections and less stress for the family.”

Launched in December 2016, CCU puts together a package that includes providing medical equipment, medical expertise — services of nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, attendants — and other things needed to implement the prescribed treatment.

At present, CCU provides critical care and services in neurology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and organ transplants.
