BAREILLY: A 12-year-old boy was allegedly killed by three people who dumped his body in their pond where he used to give his cattle a bath in Bhurgitola village under Aonla police station on Wednesday evening.
Aonla station house officer (SHO)
Pankaj Verma said, “The accused have been identified as Roshan Lal, 42, Ramswaroop Kashyap, 52 and Kashyap’s son Chote, 25.
We have sent the body for post-mortem.”
“Following the complaint filed by the deceased father
Devendra Sharma, an FIR has been lodged under sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). We are conducting raids to nab the accused who are at large,” SHO added.
The father said, “My son Divyansh, a student of class V, along with his six-year-old sister Divyanshi, had on Wednesday afternoon gone to the pond near Alinagar road, which is owned by the accused, to give the cattle a bath. Around 4 pm, Divyanshi returned with the cattle, but Divyansh was not with her. With the help of neighbours, I started searching for him. It was only in the late night that we found his body floating in the pond. I immediately informed police.”
“Two days ago, the accused had threatened to kill my son and they killed my son and dumped his body in the pond,” he added.
