Anil Chaudhary, wife expelled from BSP
Moradabad: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has expelled Anil Chaudhary and his wife Manju Devi for anti-party activities. Chaudhary had allegedly announced that the party has declared him as the candidate for 2017 Vidhan Sabha elections from Bilari constituency.
Chaudhary and his wife Manju Devi (former chairperson of Moradabad zila panchayat) both were expelled from the party on Thursday. After his expulsion, Chaudhary alleged that his rival had paid Rs 4 crore to the party leaders for the ticket for Bilari Vidhan Sabha seat. According to Chaudhary, he was given a ticket 15 months ago and was now expelled without issuing any show cause notice.
Rajya Sabha MP and the BSP leader Veer Singh said, “Choudhary was expelled from the party after he was found involved in anti-party activities. And expelled candidates leveling allegations of accepting money is quite common.”
Chaudhary told TOI, “I will organize a rally against Naseem-ud-duin Siddique and party supremo Mayawati on August 23 and disclose some facts before the people of Bilari.”
Chaudhary said that he has been attached with BSP since from 2003 some senior party leaders had misguided the party supremo. During the 2012 state assembly elections the party had cancelled Choudhary’s ticket, but was again inducted in 2015.
“Anti-party activities won’t be tolerated and all future actions for the Bilari Vidhan Sabha seat will be decided by the coordinator and the general secretary,” Singh said.
