BAREILLY: As the final examinations of various undergraduate and postgraduate courses are scheduled to start on March 9, MJP Rohilkhand University officials have geared up to conduct the exams at 193 centres, where over 5 lakh students are scheduled to take them. As many as five teams will invigilate at the centres.
Officials are leaving no stone unturned in order to prevent any malpractices on the students’ part. A control room at the varsity campus will facilitate examinees as well as the colleges from facing any problems with admit cards, attendance sheets, etc. The decision was taken after the university officials came across several complaints from students as well as colleges where students had wrongly filled online examination forms which were forwarded to varsity officials by their colleges without scrutiny.
A large number of students complained about various discrepancies in their admit cards after which officials decided to open a control room where all queries over admit cards and other essentials will be solved by the concerned persons.
On the other hand after receiving complaints over admit cards, an official said that the students can themselves attest their photos on admit cards. However they will have to produce their college identity cards without which they might face problems. Talking to TOI, Rohilkhand University PRO, Zaheer Ahmed said, “All formalities have been completed and we hope to conduct a cheating free examination.”
