Two-day ethical hacking workshop at GECA
Aurangabad: The annual national technical festival MindSpark 2017 organised by the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is set to conduct a two-day workshop on ethical hacking at Government Engineering College, Aurangabad (GECA) from Sunday.
During the two-day workshop, students will be taught about the basics of ethical hacking on mobile phones, email and operating systems as well as ways to protect it. The outreach event is open to all.
The workshop will be divided in four sessions where participants will be introduced to various concepts and techniques of ethical hacking. It will be an additional benefit for engineering students and networking enthusiasts.
“The workshop will offer hands-on sessions on certification, interactive sessions with live demonstrations and doubt clearing sessions as well,” an organiser said.
Similar workshops have received a good response in other cities in the past. The organisers said that this is the first time that the students from the city will be attending such a workshop.
“Workshops organised by CoEP MindSpark17 have been a great success in Nanded and Amravati, drawing around 200 students to the event. Participants from these outreach workshops are greatly benefited by their improved knowledge on these innovative topics,” he added.
Interested students can also visit the official website of MindSpark (www.mind-spark.org) for additional information.
