Pune woman robbed of 30g gold chain

Aurangabad: A 32-year-old woman hailing from Pune was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs 1 lakh on Sunday afternoon in front of the Baliram Patil School in Cidco at 2 pm.
The woman,Deepali Yogesh Mahajan, in her complaint to the Cidco police station, stated that she had come to Aurangabad to attend a marriage of her relative in Saptapadi Mangal Karyalaya of Cidco N-7 and was on her way to her host's house on foot.A youth came close to her from the opposite direction on a Scooty, grabbed the 30 gram gold chain she was wearing and fled the scene.
The woman raised an alarm but in vain as there was barely any traffic on the road. Left with no option, she lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case of robbery has been registered at the Cidco police station.
