New alumni association formed at MGM

AURANGABAD: The

MGM Institute of Management

here recently held election for its

alumni association

as the term of earlier officer bearers came to an end.

“The election was conducted by both the online and offline method for the first time. As a result of this, over 950 alumni could cast their votes for electing individuals for various posts,” a college release said.

Speaking on the occasion,

Sagar Namjoshi

, passing out president of alumni association highlighted different achievements of association during his tenure. Vivek Mutha , passing out vice-president listed out activities that benefited past students in last two-years.

The newly elected aluni association includes Nitin Mahajan (president), Sayali Wable (vice-president) Chitra Deshpande (secretary), Ashish Wagh (joint secretary), Surbhi Soni and Chitra Deshpande (both members), a release said.

, institute director Pardeep Kumar and Anil Palve along with members of teaching and non-teaching staff were also present.
