Engineering exam racket busted, 26 students including girls arrested

AURANGABAD: The city police in the early hours of Wednesday busted a racket involving rewriting of engineering answer book and arrested 26 engineering college students including three girl students from the residence of a Shiv Sena corpoprator Sitaram Sure.
Following a tip off, the crime branch of the city police raided the corporator's residence to find engineering students writing their answers.

Aurangabad commissioner of police Yashasvi Yadav told TOI, "The operation started post-midnight and the engineering students along with a couple of professors have been arrested. In addition to this, the engineering college president and the corporator have also been arrested."
Crime branch sleuths maintained that the arrested engineering students belong to Sai Institute of Engineering and Technology and studying in second year. When caught they were rewriting the answer sheets of the subject `Building Construction and Design’.
