AURANGABAD: The joint director, technical education (

Aurangabad

) region, last week issued a circular directing engineering students to use both side of the paper in their journals during submission.

, said, "In Aurangabad, students from almost all engineering colleges, including PES, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College and

Deogiri College

from the 2016-17 academic year."

The academician was also hopeful that the Centre would consider the collective efforts made to save the environment and reduce carbon emissions. "Considering the positive response from the Union power minister, Piyush Goyal at the CEO

Forum

on Sunday we hope that the move would be a success," he said.
