A treat is in store for classical music lovers. More than 10 classical musicians and singers will take part in the Swara Zankar Music Festival organized by the Violin Academy from Pune, in Aurangabad from November 28 to 30.

AURANGABAD: A treat is in store for classical music lovers. More than 10 classical musicians and singers will take part in the Swara Zankar Music Festival organized by the Violin Academy from Pune, in Aurangabad from November 28 to 30.
Noted artistes like Hariprasad Chaurasia, Begum Parveen Sultana, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Bhajan Sopori, Atulkumar Upadhye, Vijay Ghate, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Anand Bhate and Mukesh Jadhav will be performing in the three-day festival to be held in one of the city’s malls.

The Violin Academy from Pune has been organising the festival in the city from the last five years.
And every year the concert is witnessing a growth in number of music lovers.
“Understanding music is a great art which gives peace and relaxation,” said Atulkumar Upadhye while briefing newspersons recently.
“Every person should have the basic knowledge of all the forms of music i.e. dance, vocal and instrument which together forms music,” added Upadhye.
