AURANGABA: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amit Thackeray will be arriving on a two-day tour of Aurangabad on the last leg of his Marathwada tour on Thursday evening.

Amit, son of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, currently heads the youth wing of the party. He has started his region-level tour from Tuljapur in Osmanabad district on October 6 and visited different districts of Marathwada.

MNS Aurangabad president Sumit Khambekar said Amit would hold meeting with different office-bearers and party workers during his two-day tour.

“Among different events, he is scheduled to attend the party membership drive on October 14 and also visit Ghrishneshwar temple at Ellora,” he said.

The region-wide tour of our youth leader is important considering upcoming elections to different local civic bodies in Marathwada,” he added. Earlier, Amit cancelled his Marathwada tour citing heavy rain.
