53-year old trader robbed in Aurangabad

AURANGABAD: The

have launched a manhunt for a bike-borne unidentified suspect who robbed city based trader of a petty amount in broad daylight near the

recently. The trader identified as

Satish Bansilal Jaju

, a resident of N-4, Cidco was on December 13 heading home in his car when a man riding a bike waylaid him.

As per the complaint lodged by Jaju, as soon as he stopped his car, the suspect came next to the driver side of the car and directly put hand in Jaju’s shirt’s pocket and snatched Rs 200. On being resisted by Jaju, the suspect threatened him with dire consequences before making his escape good. Shocked by the incident, the trader reached home. Subsequently he along with his family members reached the Kranti Chowk police and lodged a complaint. The police have registered a case of robbery against the suspect.
