AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Sunday recovered around 3 kg of
heroin from near Indo-Pak International border in the Tarn Taran district of
Punjab.
A spokesperson of BSF informed that they had received specific input regarding the presence of contraband near Mastgarh village in Taran Taran following which BSF launched a search operation with the help of police.
During the search, 3 packets having 2.916 kg heroin, and a drone battery were recovered from the paddy fields in Mastgarh village. However, no arrest has been made so far with regards to the case.
