On complaint of Sidhu Moose Wala's father, extortion case registered against unknown persons

BATHINDA: The Mansa police registered case under charges of extortion and criminal intimidation against unknown persons on the complaint of late singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh. The case was registered on Tuesday evening at Mansa Sadar police station.
Balkaur Singh in his complaint made to the police had stated that he had got a mail on 'info@sidhumoosewala.net' wherein a threat was made to his life and money was demanded from him.
Some person in the mail, which was in Hindi, had stated he (Balkaur) should stop speak against Lawrance Bishnoi and Goldy Brar apart from security provided to Bishnoi or he too may have to face even worse than his father. It was also stated that Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Mannu had been killed in encounter under his pressure and now he should stop speaking or get ready to face music.
Balkaur Singh had said that he is not scared of the threats and will continue raising voice for justice in the killing of his son.
Police after verification has registered the case.
