BATHINDA: Union women and child development minister
Smriti Irani on Wednesday said the
Congress failed to provide basic necessities to women for a dignified life despite ruling the country for decades.

BJP Bathinda Urban candidate Raj Garg Nambardar,
Irani
said the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre provided women dignity by constructing 10 crore toilets and making most part of the country as open defecation free (ODF). She said in

She said while BJP was for all religions, the Congress was trying to divide society by raising undue issues.
‘Vote for change’Union minister for culture Meenakshi Lekhi said in Ludhiana on Tuesday night that BJP should get the vote if Punjab wanted the number-one status and more things like the Golden Gate of Amritsar, best highways, AIIMS, Smart City projects, and an airport that had come from the Centre.
