Punjab: Heroine, drone recovered from Amritsar, Tarn Taran

AMRITSAR: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday recovered around 6 kg heroin and one drone from border villages in both the Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts of Punjab.

Giving details, a BSF spokesperson informed that following a tip-off regarding the presence of some suspicious material in the fields near village Attari in Amritsar district BSF and police launched a joint search operation and recovered one black bag containing 5.29 kg heroin packed in five packets.

In another case, the spokesperson said that during another joint search operation at Rajoke village in Tarn Taran district, they recovered a drone and 1 packet of heroin containing 524 grams of heroin.

No arrest was made in both the cases.
