(CKD) at par with international standards, and to prepare them to compete at the global level, the Sikh body is going to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the

, UK.

"We are going to introduce internationally accredited professional courses for our students," said CKD president

Charanjit Singh Chadha

, while talking to newspersons here on Thursday. He informed that the collaborative programmes would help achieve the goal of exposing CKD students to faculty members with international experience and global perspectives. For the purpose, he informed that the CKD management had a meeting with Nottingham University vice -chancellor Edward Peck, and director Stephen Williams.

The partnerships would benefit students in terms of best education at a moderate cost, yet entitling them to transfer their skill across the globe. "We discussed about research and joint degree programmes, faculty and student exchange programmes, and inquired about the eligibility, admission procedures, facilities provided to students, placements and approval conditions," said Charanjit.
